His formal education and qualifications include Masters of Cleaner Production, Bachelor of Environmental Engineering, NEBOSH Technical Certificate and an Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and he is a Lead Auditor in Health & Safety Management Systems.

Tania is an emergency and risk management professional with over 25 years of experience working in government, private and volunteer sectors. This has been in operational roles as an emergency responder in the environmental, medical and hazardous material fields, and in strategic roles across emergency management planning, HSE and emergency risk management and consequence management.
Tania has worked internationally with the Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre, Bangkok on developing guidance for mainstreaming disaster risk management into planning governance structures and processes, and has medical emergency experience through volunteering as a member of Ambulance Victoria’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Tania’s formal education and qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Disaster Risk Reduction, a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons), an Advanced Diploma of Public Safety (Emergency Management), a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Certificate II in Emergency Medical Service First Response.
